How to take care of your bundles

The key to getting the most wear out of your bundles is just a little TLC. With proper care, your bundles can last for months and a whole year or longer with C.B.K. Extensions. One thing about me is I'm gone reuse some hair until I can't reuse it anymore. Always get your money's worth. When customers ask me to revive their hair it only takes a few steps and products.

1. Silicon Mix

If your bundles are dry and rough, silicon mix is the perfect fix for that! It's a hydrating treatment that can restore softness and shine to your hair. This is the most essential product I grab when it's time to wash my C.B.K. Extensions. Check your local beauty supply store or you can even purchase on Amazon. Price varies depending on the size but to give a ball park price I'll say $10.

2. TRESemme Moisture Rich

I've tired quite a few shampoo and conditioning products for my bundles over the last 9 years. V05, TRESemme Keratin smooth, Head and Shoulders are a few. After stumbling across TRESemme Moisture Rich duo....I'll never switch up. You can find this product online and in the most common stores like Walmart, Walgreens, and Family Dollar. For the bundle pack pictured above I believe it's approximately $7. Just like the silicon mix it restores moisture and your hair will be softer.

That's It! Now that you know what's needed, let me give you the steps I take. Depending on the condition of your hair, you can either boil it or just wash it. Yes BOIL it!

  1. Start off by boiling some water and add a good amount of silicon mix and conditioner. While the water is boiling, wash your bundles with your shampoo to get all the dirt and product build up out.
  2. Lather the silicon mix onto the hair. You absolutely have to lather it in. Massage that bundle or wig from top to bottom.
  3. Don't rinse the hair out! Take the boiling water off the stove and add your hair to the water. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Remove the hair from the boiling water and rinse it out. Do one more wash with your conditioner and you're done!!!

One last tip. Let your hair air dry it'll be way softer than if you blow dried it. If you don't want to boil your hair during step 2 after you lathered, let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Rinse your hair out and do one more wash with the conditioner.

Hope this helps! With these products and steps your hair will last longer and look silky and soft.
